Application Guide for Cropshader Orchard

Cropshader Orchard can be applied with manual sprayers, drones, or pulverizators, giving growers the flexibility to match the method to their orchard size, terrain, and labor resources. Regardless of the method, the goal is the same — a fine, even coating that forms a uniform protective film over leaves and fruit.

Dilution & Preparation

  • Dilution ratio: 1:20 – mix 1 kg Cropshader Orchard with 20 kg of clean water.
  • Coverage: Two 20 kg buckets cover approximately 1 hectare.
  • Mixing: Stir the coating thoroughly before adding to the tank. Use only clean water in a clean, rinsed spray tank.
  • Agitation: Keep the mixture agitated during application to prevent settling

Weather Conditions

Apply only when:

  • Wind speed: Below 2 m/s (7 km/h) to prevent drift.
  • Relative humidity: Below 90% for optimal drying.
  • Rain forecast: No rain expected for at least 12 hours after application.

Timing & Frequency

  • First application: At fruit set, before visible sunburn symptoms.
  • Reapplication: Every 2–3 weeks during peak heat or after heavy rain.

Safety Measures

  • Wear protective gloves, mask, and clothing.
  • Avoid inhalation.
  • Wash thoroughly after handling.
  • Dispose of empty containers and leftover product according to local regulations.

Application Methods

Manual Spraying

Ideal for small orchards, high-value blocks, or targeted reapplications.

  • Use hand-held or backpack sprayers with 1.2–1.5 mm nozzles.
  • Maintain a steady walking pace, slightly overlapping passes.
  • Adjust spray angle to cover sun-exposed and shaded areas evenly.

Drone Spraying

Fast, efficient, and ideal for large or hard-to-reach areas.

  • Use agricultural drones with nozzles or droplet size equivalent to 1.2–1.5 mm.
  • Fly at a consistent altitude to minimize drift and ensure uniform droplet landing.
  • Program overlapping flight paths, adjusting for wind direction and speed.

Pulverizator Spraying

Best for large commercial orchards needing high-volume, uniform coverage.

  • Use tractor-mounted or towed sprayers with 1.2–1.5 mm nozzles.
  • Spray both sides of each row for even canopy coverage.
  • Calibrate regularly to prevent over- or under-application.

Key to success: Regardless of method, uniform distribution across the orchard is essential. Overlapping passes, proper nozzle size, and continuous agitation in the tank will ensure Cropshader Orchard forms a consistent, long-lasting protective film — keeping fruit surfaces cooler, sustaining photosynthesis, and preserving quality until harvest.
